Middlesex Street Petticoat Lane
Black and white photographic postcard with a view of crowds in Petticoat Lane Market in Middlesex Street, east London. On the back of the card is a greeting and a postmark, 24 March 1910. Petticoat Lane was a centre for the manufacture and trading of garments. Many Jewish immigrants from eastern Europe found employment there, and established thriving Jewish communities.
