Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1193; Obv inscription: ROBERT.HAINES (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALF / PENY (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field); Rev inscritpion: IN.GOSWELL.STREET (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A swan (in field).
Goswell Street, now Goswell Road, lies in the London Borough of islington, having previously been part of Middlesex.
