Cross flanked by pilgrims
Part of a pilgrim badge from an unknown shrine. This openwork badge depicts a cross standing on a stepped plinth with a kneeling pilgrim on each side. The pilgrims have their hands raised in prayer. The top part of the badge is missing. Pilgrims frequently bought souvenirs such as badges at the shrines they visited.
