The March of the Women
Music score and words for 'The March of the Women' dedicated to the Women's Social and Political Union. Composed by Ethel Smyth 1911. Printed on one side of a vocal card sold for 1d by The Woman's Press. On the reverse of the sheet are printed advertisements for other vocal cards. (Propagandist Songs and Poems). Part of the collection of objects relating to the Suffragette Movement, given by the Suffragette Fellowship, 1950. On the top left hand corner of the title page is handwritten 'a souvenir of the 28th Aug. 1911' signed E Pankhurst.
