Printed Ephemera — 1992
The Camden Palace
This flyer dates from 1992 when Camden Palace was one of London’s most significant venues for the rave music scene. The legendary Orange Raves, referred to on this flyer were held on Friday nights from 1987 and hosted by resident DJs Chris Paul and DJ Squirrel. By 1992 Orange was one of London’s most successful raves with 20,000 members and a distinctive orange branding as printed on the flyer.
Success at Camden Palace resulted in other Orange Rave club nights at London venues including the Astoria and Hippodrome.
