Sample, sample of crude rubber
Sample of crude un-processed rubber from Ceylon. By the late 1950s around 183,000 tons of rubber was imported through the London Docks each year. Much of it used in manufacturing vehicle tyres. It was stored in the London Dock at Wapping.
