Sample, jalap root sample
A sample of Jalap root imported through the St Katherine Docks from the West Indies and South America. Jalap root has been used for centuries as an extremely powerful purgative. However, it has also been claimed that it can be an effective part of the treatment of colitis, rheumatism or even epilepsy.
