Part of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 29 made in one of the potteries in South Gaul. The upper zone is decorated with proto-panels including human figures, with continuous gadroons around lower zone. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
