Coin copy, radiate
A copper alloy contemporary copy of a Roman radiate coin (barbarous radiate). The back of the coin depicts a centaur. This coin was made c. AD 275-285.
Obv: Radiate head, facing right. Obv inscription: Illegible. Rev: A centaur, advancing right. Rev inscription: illegible. Part of a hoard from Newgate Street, City of London.
