Coin, as
A copper alloy as coin of Faustina the Younger, empress to Marcus Aurelius, AD 161-180. She was the daughter of Emperor Antoninus Pius, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 138-161. The back of the coin depicts Diana, the Roman goddess of the moon, hunting and birth. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 152-153.
Obv: Draped and bare-headed bust of Faustina II, facing right. Obv inscription: FAVSTINA AVG PII AVG FIL. Rev: Diana, standing front, head left, holding an arrow in her extended right hand and resting her left hand on a bow set on the ground. Rev inscription: SC in field.
