Coin, as
A copper alloy as coin of Emperor Hadrian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 117-138. The back of the coin depicts Pietas, the female personification of dutifulness. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 119.
Obv: Laureate bust of Hadrian, facing right, left shoulder draped. Obv inscription: [IMP CAESA]R TRAIAN HADR[IANVS AVG]. Rev: Pietas, standing front, raising her right hand above an altar and holding her left hand to her breast. Rev inscription: PONT MAX [TR POT] COS III, [PIE] AVG SC in field.
