The Great Crest
Wooden carving showing a kneeling figure holding aloft The Mark of the Kibbo Kift. Made by the Woodlanders Tribe of the Kibbo Kift to John Hargrave's design, this important carving, known as 'The Great Crest', was carried in procession during ceremonies.
Elaborate ceremonies were at the heart of the Kibbo Kift movement. These often had mystical undertones and were intended to tap into currents of spiritual and supernatural energy.
