This cabinet 'Sobell' radiogram was ordered from the South Bank Exhibition during the Festival of Britain, 1951. It includes a gramaphone and radio with shortwave, mediumwave, longwave and FM reception. It was one of the products that was exhibited at the Festival, which showcased some of the best of new design in consumer products. Visitors could place orders for any items that took their fancy.
