A silver denarius coin of Emperor Hadrian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 117-138. The back of the coin depicts Hadrian. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 119-122.
Obv: Laureate head of Hadrian, facing right, left shoulder draped. Obv inscription: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG. Rev: Hadrian standing left, holding a rudder on a globe in his right hand and a reversed, vertical spear in the left. Rev inscription: PM TR P [CO]S III.
