A silver denarius coin of Emperor Trajan, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 98-117. The back of the coin depicts Genius. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 112-115.
Obv: Laureate bust of Trajan, facing right, left shoulder draped. Obv inscription: IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TR P COS VI PP. Rev: Genius, standing left, holding a patera (dish) in his right hand corn-ears in the left. Rev inscription: SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI.
