Coin, denarius
A silver denarius coin of Emperor Vespasian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 69-79. The back of the coin depicts a modius. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 77-78.
Obv: Laureate head of Vespasian, facing right. Obv inscription: CAESAR VESPASIANVS [AVG]. Rev: A three legged modius containing corn-ears. Rev inscription: [I]MP X[I]X in field.
