A copper alloy as coin of Emperor Nero, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 54-68. The back of the coin depicts an altar. This coin was minted in Lugdunum (modern day Lyon, France), AD 64-68.
Obv: Bare head of Nero, facing right. Obv inscription: [[NERO CL]AVD CAESAR AVG GER [PM TR P IMP PP]. Rev: The altar of Ara Pacis, the altar of peace. Rev inscription: SC in field, ARA PACI[S] in exergue.
