The Great Mark
'The Great Mark': was the movement's central totem carved and painted with the Kibbo Kift's emblem The Great Mark was attached to a long, elaborately carved pole ( now lost) and appears in many photographs of Kin ceremonial occasions. According to Kinlog it was first used at Althing V in June 1924: 'There was Great Mark On High set'
The Great Mark was made in 1924 by the Woodlanders Tribe from Plumstead, under the direction of Eagle Eye ( Mr Cone).
