John Burgess and Son
Copper-engraved billhead and handwritten invoice in English round hand issued by John Burgess & Son at the Fish Sauce Warehouse, 107 Strand at the corner of Savoy Steps. The billhead is signed by the engraver 'Curtis'. This is presumably John Curtis who was based in the same area as John Burgess in Exeter Street, off the Strand. The handwritten invoice refers to the supply of oils to Lord Bolton.
