Diamond and enamel chain
A chain of 164 enamelled gold links with an alternating arrangement of 82 diamond-set sexfoil flowers and 82 elliptical loops. The table-cut stones vary slightly in size but are all mounted in closed settings riveted through the base and through the flower with a gold pin. The flowers and loops have a white enamel ground and the loops and base of each flower have black enamel stripes and flashes. Each flower has a pair of opposing loops for attachment. There is some loss of enamel, but the chain is otherwise complete. Part of the Cheapside Hoard.
