Souvenir book of Charles II’s coronation, written by John Ogilby. Ogilby, a Scot who made his reputation as a theatrical impresario in Ireland, stage-managed the coronation of Charles II in 1661. His published account of the proceedings shows the coronation procession through the City and the various entertainments enjoyed by the spectators. It was illustrated by Wenceslas Hollar.
