Jug, witch bottle
Frechen stoneware miniature jug containing nine brass pins, each of which has been bent twice. The pins inside show that the jug was re-used as a witch bottle (a bottle used as a charm against witchcraft). It was found on the site of Plaisterer's Hall, Noble Street in the area of the city ditch.
