Jug, Bartmann jug, witch bottle
Frechen stoneware bottle with mottled glaze and medallion depicting a lion rampant. Found containing earth, hair and a cloth heart stuck with bent pins, presumably for magical purposes. The contents indicate this was used as a witch bottle (charm against witchcraft).
