Handle, box handle
A copper alloy box handle. A square filament with two T-shaped projections behind to fit into the box. Complete with a decorative edge projecting from the four sides; incorporating a double concentric circle motif, arranged in groups of 3 along each edge. In the raised front is a circular loop clipped through the fitting and supporting a copper alloy ring.
Recovered from the Walbrook stream bed, close to eastern edge.
