Gelatin silver print, part of the Henry Grant photographs collection. From a group of images of Paddington Technical College c. 1952. The image shows six individuals taking readings from a petrol engine test at Paddington Technical College. The handwritten captions on the reverse read 'Paddington Technical College London W9' and 'Evening classes & part-time day release students.' The typed caption with additional handwritten notes attached on the reverse reads 'Paddington Tech. London. Instrument readings of a petrol engine under test being taken by students in the Engineering Department. Students study for National Certificate & City & Guilds Courses.'
