A man holds a sign featuring the conspiracy theorist David Icke at an anti-lockdown protest in Hyde Park on 16 May 2020. Approximately 100 protesters gathered that day to denounce the Covid-19 lockdown and use of vaccinations. At the time of the protest, the UK coronavirus death toll counted almost 36,000 victims. The UK saw several anti-lockdown protests during the pandemic with thousands of people marching through central London in spring 2021.
