Bacchus
A silver mount; a thin sheet of silver, decorated with openwork. Depicting the figure of Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and guardian of the eternal souls of the dead, looking left, surrounded by a vines with bunches of grapes and holding a pine-coned tipped Thrysus (staff) in his left hand. At his feet a panther is reaching up to his left hand.
