Trafalgar Square
View of south side of Trafalgar Square, drawn at the time of the Duke of Wellington's Funeral, 18 November 1852. It takes in (from a rooftop vantage point on the west side of the square) the foot of Nelson's column (without Landseer's lions), Northumberland House and the equestrian statue of Charles I, with a glimpse of the river in the background including one end of Brunel's pedestrian Hungerford suspension bridge. Artist's monogram, undated.
