Untitled
One of six photographs by Liz Johnson Artur documenting club nights for queer and non-binary people of colour. They were shot at BBZ (Bold Brazen Zamis, or Babes) and PDA, which are club nights with all-inclusive policies and are all about celebrating differences and challenging normative ideas around identity, gender, race and sexuality. These club nights foster close-knit communities of creatives, clubbers, lovers and friends, and create a safe environment for self-expression.
