The museum curates over 35,000 archaeologically derived human skeletal remains.
We are in the process of updating web content about the human remains in our care. This work should be completed by early 2025.
In the meantime, information about the ‘Impact of Industralisation on London Health’ project, the Wellcome Osteological Research Database (WORD), and copies of the research data downloads for early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon), Medieval and post-Medieval cemetery populations, are still available by emailing [email protected]
