The London Olympics Quiz
Are you an Olympian when it comes to Olympics facts?
London has a rich and vibrant connection to the Olympic Games. Not only has the city played host to the Games multiple times, did you know that the 1908 Olympic marathon inadvertently set the now-standard distance of 26.2 miles, or 42.195km? Or that the 1948 Games were known as the ‘Austerity Games’ as athletes brought their own bedding and food had to be rationed?
London’s association with the Games is peppered with many such interesting facts. How many do you know? Let’s find out!
