Our Board of Governors
There are 18 governors who bring a huge range of experience and expertise and are responsible for overseeing the management and accountability of the museum. London Museum is the working name of The Board of Governors of the Museum of London.
Our Chair
Clive Bannister
Appointed by the GLA in 2013
Clive is also Chair of the Museum’s Finance & General Purposes Committee, the Trust Fund Management & Acquisitions Committee, and sits on the Remuneration Committee. He is Chair of Rathbones Group plc and of Beazley plc. and was formerly CEO of Phoenix Group plc and Group Managing Director at HSBC Group plc.
