Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 37, with ovolo band, made at Rheinzabern, East Gaul. Decorated with freestyle design of animal and human figures. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
