A copper alloy nummus of an unidentified Roman emperor. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted c. AD 388-402.
Obv: Bust, facing right. Obv inscription: Illegible. Rev: Victory, advancing left, dragging a captive by the hair. Rev inscription: [SALVS REIPVBLICAE]. Part of a hoard from Bermondsey, Southwark.
